Patterson kicked off the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival by approving a State Budget that includes an increase to the existing State Film Tax Credit. The revised legislation triples the percentage of qualified film production costs eligible for the credit from 10 percent to 30 percent. Additionally, it extends the program, which was originally set to expire in 2011, for an additional two years to 2013.
Read MoreScreen Actors Guild has been made aware that on several of the payroll companies’ new voucher forms there is a section that asks for members’ birth date, with some forms indicating that the payee’s date of birth must be provided in order to be paid.
Members do NOT need to provide date of birth information on these forms in order to be paid. The Guild advises that members cross out that section of the voucher—the company is still obligated to issue payment as long as the employee fulfilled the I-9 obligation.

The Actors Federal Credit Union Teller and Member Services hours on the 14th floor of its main branch, located in the AEA Building at 165 West 46th Street in NYC, will be expanded by two hours. The new, expanded, hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. "Two-Thousand and Seven was a busy year for the credit union.
