Although we’ll be able to answer many of your questions here, consider this page a starting point toward understanding the opportunity new media has to offer.

We’re here to help members grasp the implications of the emerging technologies on their livelihoods and to aid producers in using our members for their creative endeavors on new platforms.

The New Media Department stays on top of the latest changes in content creation and distribution. We work internally with the Guild’s negotiating, organizing and policy-making committees, but we also reach out with a clear message: The professional Screen Actors Guild actor will be an indispensable component of advertising, industrial, and entertainment content on any screen, not matter how screens might evolve.
